about

Conduct Becoming's 6th Album from 2006

As Always, For Abes...

This project is a living reminder of the impact that jason Abraham has on those lucky enough to have known him.

We hope to continue expressing Abes' vibrant an enthusiastic outlooks on life through production of this album and the fight for a world without cancer.

This is for you, Abes...
Ian Allen, Friend

When we arrive as students at Mount Allison University, it is our turn to bring our unique talents into a community with an already rich history and bright future. It is also our time to take from that community all it has to offer.

Since 2001, Conduct Becoming has offered Mount Allison musicians their turn to be heard, their time to share the spotlight. Each year, as a new group of artists tells their stories and shares their talents, what remains a constant is the undeniable connection between the music and community from which it grows.

Working in the studio with these talented musicians we have seen that the relationship between art and place is such that the school and the town inspire creativity which in turn gives life and character bak into the community.

Listening to the album you will be struck by its East Coast flavour, but if you listen harder, you will hear the sound of Sackville. If you can't find it, ask any of the musicians involved. They'll point it out, because they're obviously proud of it.

As the project expands, and musicians in other towns and campuses across Canada have their turn to tell their stories, their time to help in the fight against cancer, our wish is that the music of Conduct Becoming does for their communities what it has done for ours.

Sincerely,
Mike Allison, Studio Producer
